Who We Are
The Florida Lions Eye Clinic offers top-notch eye care to underserved individuals in Florida. As a nonprofit, FLLEC depends solely on donations and grants. It prioritizes partnerships that align with its mission. Eligible patients receive free eye care and treatments. The Clinic serves Florida residents without medical insurance, with income at or below 200% of the federal poverty level. Annually, FLLEC assists over 2,900 patients with $1,000,000+ worth of services, including 125+ in-house surgeries. Children’s Eye Clinics are held monthly to aid academic success. Volunteers play a crucial role, with many being bilingual to cater to diverse backgrounds.

With poor eyesight, children’s academic performance is hindered, and adults are far less effective in their jobs or become unemployed. Giving the Gift of Sight is what inspires the Clinic’s leadership team.
